Message from the Prosecutor
The Prosecutor is your lawyer in the criminal justice system. He represents the People of Indiana (you and your family) against those who violate the law. As the chief law enforcement officer of Marshall County, it is the duty of the Prosecutor to protect the citizens of the county by enforcing the provisions of the Indiana Criminal Code.
The Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office is charged with the responsibility of representing the State of Indiana in all felony and misdemeanor criminal prosecutions resulting from crimes committed within Marshall County, Indiana. In addition, the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office conducts criminal investigations, supervises Grand Jury proceedings, obtains and enforces child support orders, conducts juvenile adjudications and prosecutions, obtains grants for funding of the Multi-County Drug Task Force and provides information and assistance to the victims of crime through the Victim’s Assistance Office.
