Our interactive mapping website, that allows users to locate property by owner name, address, or parcel-id, display layers and aerial photography, measure distances, print maps, identify features, and obtain ownership information.

GIS History

In 1994 Marshall County started the vision of a county GIS. Budgetary funding was implemented in 1997 for the conversion of paper tax parcel maps. In fall of 1997 a conversion company was awarded the contract. Marshall County GIS started with the tax property lines and has grown over the years to layers used by many departments. In 2002, the county released its first GIS website and has continued to increase the data layers and ease of use on the internet. A Digital Data ordinance was adopted in 2008 for the sale of the county GIS data.
