Position: Case Manager/Field Officer-Marshall County Community Corrections
Hours: Primary Hours: 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday, Must be willing to work flexible hours
Incumbent serves as Case Manager/Field Officer for Marshall County Community Corrections, and is responsible for assessing, supervising, investigating, and assisting program participants, and utilizing evidence based programs and practice. Incumbent will share supervisory responsible with the Director of Operations over Field Officer Operations.
Assists and monitors program participants, including conducting risk assessments, reviewing, executing and ensuring compliance with court orders, reporting violations, and maintaining various documents and computer files. Assists program participants in obtaining necessary treatment/educations services identified in their treatment plan.
Job Requirements: Baccalaureate Degree preferred in criminal justice, sociology, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Possession of or ability to obtain required certifications/training within time specified by department, including first responder/CPR, defensive tactics, verbal de-escalation, firearms and TASER qualification, disease control, and Indiana Risk Assessment (IRAS) Certification.
Incumbent will work both in the office and in the field conducting home compliance checks.
