To split/divide your parcel, the following steps will assist in making the process move forward:
- Contact the Planning Commission Office with a brief proposal of your land split request to verify it meets all ordinance requirements.
- Contact a surveyor for assistance in creating the legal description and/or survey.
- Contact a title company or a lawyer to prepare your deed.
- For property split approval you can submit your application through our online portal or at our office. Your survey/legal description and deed is required for a split approval.
